Che’s art, whether performance or visual, comes from a need to express and connect. Her lifelong struggle has been not feeling as if she quite fits into any social circle, genre, or category. Therefore she creates from that place, making creatures and amalgamations in ceramics, blending genre elements and switching styles in music, and, generally, fluctuating between mediums. There is always a hope that the art will resonate in some way with someone. Then the circle from expression to connection is complete.
